Family friendly routes
The National Cycle Network Route 27 passes through West Devon, as the popular Drake's Trail between Plymouth and Tavistock, the Granite Way between Lydford and Okehampton and the Tarka Trail from Meeth northwards. This multi-use trail is mainly off-road, with many sections following old railway cuttings. If you still have energy after riding the main route, then there are further on-road cycling loops on the Drake's Trail Network for you to explore.
