How to find out if land you wish to rent or buy is owned by the Council.
The Council holds records of the land it owns. We do not hold records for other landowners, and cannot tell you who owns a particular piece of land.
You can check if the Council owns a parcel of land using the interactive map.
I want to rent/buy a certain parcel of land
First check whether the Council owns the land by using the interactive map. If we do own it, please contact the Estates Team
If we do not own the land you can contact The Land Registry to find out who does own it.
