Renunciation and Suspension
A Councillor may choose to renounce any part of their entitlement to an allowance under this scheme.
If the Standards Committee determine at a Hearing that a Member should be fully suspended from his/her duties, then the Member’s Allowances (save for Dependant Carers’ allowance) will be withheld for the period of suspension.
