Basic allowances
For the period 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, a Basic Allowance of £5,498 per annum shall be paid to each Councillor.
This is intended to recognise the time commitment of Members to Council and constituency duties and costs relating to:
- the use of the Members' home
- postage
- stationery; and
- minor office equipment
