The Councils keep a list of people who are interested in Self-Build or Custom-Build projects.
You can register your interest by completing this form. Completing the form does not commit you to anything, or that there is land available for projects. It does provide us with important information about how many plots are needed and where the need is.

Self-Build or Custom-Build?
It's often thought that Self-Build and Custom-Build mean the same thing, but there is a difference.
In a custom-build, you pay other people for their expertise to oversee and complete your project, which is built according to your own design and needs.
A self-build means that you are carrying out most of the work yourself, using other people's expertise occasionally.
A group of people could get together to complete a self-build and/or custom-build project or projects.
More information about self-builds and custom-builds can be found in the Right to Build Toolkit.
For information about how we will use your data, please see Privacy and Personal Data. For Equal Opportunities information, please see Equality.
