Enforcement Policy

The Council's Enforcement Policy sets out how we deal with enforcing the laws that we have a duty to enforce as a Local Authority.

Comments and Complaints

If a matter has not yet reached court or in any other case where a person affected by an enforcement decision is dissatisfied, as with other complaints about our service or staff, one of our managers will be able to discuss the cause of the dissatisfaction, and will try to find a solution.

We have a Complaints Procedure and any person aggrieved by the enforcement action taken by the Council in connection with our enforcement activity (or any other actions) may register their complaint in accordance with that procedure.
