Recycling Centres

Devon County Council run the Recycling Centres within West Devon. You can find details such as opening hours using the links below:

Upholstered furniture

New environmental requirements will mean that from Sunday 1 December 2024 residents will only be able to throw away their upholstered furniture at certain centres.

From Sunday 1 December 2024 residents will no longer be able to take this kind of waste to Tavistock Recycling Centre.

Van permits

From 1 March 2023, if you own a private van and you want to use DCC's Recycling Centres you will need a permit.
