Structural Survey

Required for conversion of existing barns/buildings in the countryside, to establish that the structure of the building is adequate for the conversion without significant structural works or rebuild.

A Structural Survey, carried out by a qualified structural engineer,  should include:

  1. How structurally sound the building is in its current state
  2. Whether the building is capable of conversion without significant extension, alteration or rebuilding
  3. The nature and extent of works that will be required to achieve the proposed development
