Required wherever developments disturb ground that is known or likely to have archaeological interest.
Guidance
An assessment of archaeological information will be required, generally a Written Scheme of Investigation.
This may also require intrusive archaeological investigations to allow the significance of the archaeology as well as the impact of the development upon it to be understood.
We recommend early discussions with Devon County Council Archaeologists to determine what is required.
