The whole of Murchington Village consisting of approximately a dozen buildings grouped around a triangular shaped Orchard adjacent to the minor road linking Chagford and Gidleigh.

Extended: 1 October 2010

A general extension of the conservation area boundary around Murchington to take in land beyond the following properties which are already within the conservation area:

  • Haycroft,
  • Mount Pleasant Farm,
  • Little Mead,
  • Woodlands,
  • St. Olave's Cottage,
  • St. Olave's and
  • Murchington Farm.
