Free parking is on offer to add to the festive cheer this year and to offer support to the high streets as part of the Christmas shop local campaign.
Boosting the local economy is one of our key priorities and this is the perfect opportunity to encourage residents and visitors to spend on the high streets and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Festive shop windows are aglow and there are events galore, so wrap up warm and enjoy all the atmosphere the Christmas season has to offer.
So take advantage of the various free Christmas parking dates in West Devon Borough Council car parks on the following days and times:
- Chagford:
- From 3pm on Thursdays and Fridays in December
- From 5pm on Tuesday 10 December
- Hatherleigh:
- From 3pm on Thursdays and Fridays in December
- Okehampton:
- From 3pm on Thursdays and Fridays in December (Mill Road only)
- All day on Thursday 5 December
- Tavistock:
- From 3 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays in December (not Guildhall)
- Starting 28 November and throughout December.
- All day on Saturday 14 December
