19 December 2023 Mr Graham Parker 300

Petition Summary:

We the undersigned are dismayed that our local bus services have been depleted and withdrawn without consultation with the people of Tavistock. We ask our elected representatives to protest on behalf of all users of these services and to work with us to:

  • Reinstate the 89 local bus services replacing the new 86 and 89 buses;
  • Reinstate the 104 and 105 services for our children

Action taken by the Council:

In response the Council has lobbied the local MP Sir Geoffrey Cox and also the Devon County Council Portfolio holder for Transport, seeking their support in requesting a review of the changes made to local Services and we have also contacted the Bus Service provider asking for their decision to be reconsidered.
