Petition Summary: We the undersigned are dismayed that our local bus services have been depleted and withdrawn without consultation with the people of Tavistock. We ask our elected representatives to protest on behalf of all users of these services and to work with us to:
Action taken by the Council: In response the Council has lobbied the local MP Sir Geoffrey Cox and also the Devon County Council Portfolio holder for Transport, seeking their support in requesting a review of the changes made to local Services and we have also contacted the Bus Service provider asking for their decision to be reconsidered. As a result of taking the requested action, the Petition is now closed. |
