Proof of life and residence for foreign pensions

If you receive a pension from a foreign country, we can provide a stamp to confirm proof of life and residence in the UK.

If you are a British national receiving a pension from an overseas country, we can validate the pension company's request for confirmation of your life and residence in the UK.

You do not need an appointment for this service. This can be done at reception at:

This can be done on Tuesdays 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The charge for this service is £35.

What do I need to bring?

When you arrive for this service you must bring:

  • the form to be stamped, already fully completed – we cannot advise on how to complete the form
  • an English language translation of the form if it is in another language
  • photo ID such as a valid passport or driver's licence
  • a proof of address – for example, a council tax bill or bank statement
