The new system will allow you to
- View and download breakdowns of payments made to you - total payment, amount paid per tenant etc.
- Receive and download notifications online rather than through the post, saving you time
- View the future entitlement for each tenant
- Provide improved communication and better access to information.
You will also be able to see if your tenants claim is suspended, or what a payment is for. The system will also include details of any Discretionary Housing Payments made to you.
It also includes a contact us function where you can raise any additional questions you may have directly with the Benefits Team.
The portal will only show the information for those tenants who are having their Housing Benefit paid directly to their landlord. If you have a tenant who you believe is receiving Housing Benefit and is 8 or more weeks in arrears with their rent and you already have access to the system, please log in and use the contact us section of the system to send us the name, address and evidence of the arrears for the tenant in question.
If you don't currently have access to the online system, please contact us using the button above to register. You will need to provide the tenant's name, address and evidence of the arrears.
Organisations and Businesses
If you don’t have access to the portal currently and are part of an organisation such as a Housing Association, please check with your colleagues. We are in the process of contacting our larger landlords asking for initial users to be set up who will be able to then set up additional users.
