The Mayoral Awards are given out each year to an individual, firm or organisation who:
An individual can include a person temporarily living away from the Borough but whose main place of residence remains in West Devon.
The Award Categories are:
The West Devon Mayoral Award (Under 18)
The nominee for this award should be a person under the age of 18 at the time of nomination and who you think has
The West Devon Mayoral Award (Over 18/Organisation)
The nominee for this award should be a person over 18 or an organisation who you think has
The Mayor's Green Award
This award was created to recognise and highlight the work done by individuals or groups who have made a significant contribution to the conservation and protection of the natural environment of West Devon. This includes work on carbon reduction schemes, environmental projects, recycling, sustainable energy projects, green transport project and community work promoting, carrying out or highlighting any of the above. If you know of a real 'green go-getter' (individual or organisation) then please do nominate them.
Nominations need to be submitted in writing, using the nomination forms which can be downloaded on the right hand side of the page. The forms should be returned to:

The closing date for nominations is the 28 February 2019. The judging will take place no later than the 9 March 2019 and the winners will be notified shortly afterwards.
The winners will receive their awards at a ceremony on 27 March 2019.
