A number of projects have been planned or are underway to help us achieve our aims and ambitions as set out in The West Devon Council Plan.
These include:
- Delivery of Okehampton Transport Hub.
- Supporting local communities to identify and bring forward sites for housing.
- Launching a wildlife warden scheme for the Borough – helping volunteers come together to support nature recovery.
- Supporting Network Rail and Devon County Council with the development of a business case to reinstate a new rail station in Tavistock.
- Developing an Arts and Culture strategy for the area.
- Continue to deliver UK Shared Prosperity Fund projects to support our businesses and communities.
