Housing is one of our top priorities, highlighted in our new Council Plan.
We want to help tackle the housing crisis by providing new and genuinely affordable new homes for local people.
We want to:
- Help communities bring affordable housing to their areas.
- Work with housing partners to improve the number of affordable, safe and good quality homes.
- Bring forward more low-cost ownership homes for the people who need it most
- Provide even more opportunities for our residents to get onto the property ladder, such as Shared Ownership
